Bear Ball?

With my last post, it got me thinking. Maybe we need to organize a BearBall game, all us local old bears and our new adopted bear friends. Now as one who has NEVER played a baseball game with actual people, this would be a real event for me.

A picnic, a ball game/or rolly bat game, and friends!

Wow, I'm excited? Anyone else??? Let me know if you would be up for it!

Ooh...I'm afraid of balls...but I'm for it as long as you're playing, too!

It would be like an Alumni Dia Del Oso!

And we can bring friends, too? I need to find someone that can play....

We have gloves! I'm not a bad throw, either! (Played softball for six years as a kid, but don't get your hopes up, there's no skill.)

I know of a great park in Ft. Worth, but not sure where you wanna locate, depends on who's coming, I suppose.

Yes, bring friends. The more the merrier. If we can find a good park, we can grill out and enjoy spring!

Hmm...my hubby hit me in the head with a baseball...that might have something to do with the fact that I didn't catch it and it ricocheted off my glove into my face...maybe not his fault at all.

I think I would be game...at least for the company...and I'm pretty sure Jeremy would like it. When would this extravaganza take place?

Would this include a fat red plastic bat and a whiffle ball...now that's my kind of baseball! Light-weight plastic...like me. : )

Cliff would be all over it. I on the other hand, am the girl who would wear flipflops to the coed softball games so she couldn't get recruited to play when there was a shortage of girls. But hanging out sounds fun! Yumm...hot dogs!

I just realized I don't think I've ever played baseball. I've played softball a couple of times, and we've got gloves and a ball!

I don't want you to miss the fact that I HAVE NEVER played a game either. I am invisioning this as about a 6-8 yr old little league-level game, then if the big kids want to play after us, all the better.

Maybe we even need a kickball game, it uses a ball, therefore it continues along our theme.

I smell a t-shirt opportunity coming on!!!
