This photo, besides containing to stunningly beautiful people, is of Joe and me on our honeymoon after we boarded our flight headed to Jamaica! We were married less than 24 hours when we boarded our plane to our island destination.

Our original flight was supposed to leave around 1o or 11 a.m., giving us plenty of time to relax, pack and have a lovely breakfast before we headed out of our beautiful hotel room. HOWEVER...airlines being their stinky selves bumped our flight to 8 a.m. that morning - and mind you a few hours in the morning makes a hell of a difference when you had YOUR OWN WEDDING the night before.

So, we rushed downstairs to check in (how sweet is that), and took what we could of our wedding buffet leftovers and got on the plane. Wedding cake is AWESOME when you are starved! (as well as any other time! =)

So, since we just celebrated our second year of marriage, I will tag two - Lydia and Karen D. - however anyone else is totally welcome!

1) What was I doing 10 years ago?

The summer of '98 was not a highlight year. My sister ditched me for her college buddies, my parents uprooted me from my only home I'd known to move to Kingwood and the monster 5A school. My best friend moved far, far away too. Had to go to band practice in the middle of a black top parking lot.... Can we just not think about this year?

2) What are five things on my to-do list today?

Laundry, tidy, NOT go to the dentist, try and be productive! Oh, and play with puppy and read Treasure Island with Joe.

3) What snacks to I enjoy?

Anything sweet! Or chips and salsa, chips and queso, chips and dip...but not so much chips on their own. Apples and peanut butter = awesome!

4) Where are some places I’ve lived?

Nederville, H-Town (ish), Wacko, Aggie Land and currently the Big D (ish)

5) What things would I do if I were a billionaire?

If I were a billionaire, I'd pay off any debts we had, as well as our parents and sissies. I'd save. I'd buy a Corvette (or two). I'd donate to Water is Basic and other church-affiliated charities/missions and work with Lydia to improve animal rescue shelter/adoption agencies. I would also become someone's benefactor (any takers, Lyd?) And I'd travel... A LOT!

1. Who is your man? Joseph Daniel O'Brien
2. How long have you been together? 6 years (Our first wedding anniv. is Sunday!!)
3. How long did you date? oh gosh...about 5 years
4. How old is your man? 25
5. Who eats more? that would be Joe
6. Who said "I love you" first? I think we both did this while we were yelling at each other. Had to get our blood boiling to find out how much we cared! Awww...
7. Who is taller? Joe
8. Who sings better? I think we both sing pretty darn good. Sundays are the best!
9. Who is smarter? I'm with Emily. Depends on the topic.
10. Whose temper is worse? That would be Joe - he's Irish - what can you say...
11. Who does the laundry? Mostly Joe, yeah he rocks
12. Who takes out the garbage? Both; or we let the stupid apt service we pay $15!!! take it from our step - but they don't come on weekends!
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. But sometimes we swap just for the heck of it.

21. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? We're both working on that one. It's not easy, but it's always better.
22. Whose parents do you see the most? Joe's - they are 10 mins away
23. Who kissed who first? It was Joe, but I didn't say no! =)
24. Who asked who out? He stalked me for a while, then finally talked me into it after a study date or two, then I had to find him again after the engineering building sucked him in Junior year.
25. Who proposed? Joey - it was so special - besides the fact that Hurricane Rita had caused everyone MASSIVE travel delays (including me!)
26. Who is more sensitive? I'd say both - I get sad about somethings more than Joe and the same for him.
27. Who has more friends? I stay in touch more, so maybe me. But we have awesome friends!
28. Who has more siblings? we're equal - one Jennifer, one Sarah
29. Who wears the pants in the family? Joe - he's my best bud, and I know he looks out for me always

1. I have an insatiable love of chips and salsa. Love it. Love it!! I can eat it for a meal. I can eat it for breakfast. Lydia and I have experimented with perfecting the do-it-yourself salsa. And I must say we made a quite tasty recipe! We'll sell it to you if you ask nicely. My favorite chips and salsa at the present time, would have to be Anamia's of Coppell fame and La Suprema from good 'ol Nederland.

2. My husband and I had chemistry together from the very beginning. We met our sophomore year at Baylor in Chemistry class and it has been a fun joke ever since. I am so madly in love with him and thankful that God made me stay on the vet route for just a bit longer for me to meet Joe.

3. I do not like leftovers. I never have and probably never will. They don't heat up right, you just had them and, more importantly, I usually forget about them after I put them in the fridge. However, this helped many other people along the way. My roomie and best bud Lydia LOVES leftovers...so she was well-fed! Joe is a boy and gets hungry at any random time, so poof, there is food I totally didn't remember.

4. I won a coloring contest when I was little and I got to dress up and get my face painted like a clown. That was lots of fun! I also won another coloring contest in Kindergarten at the Southeast Texas fair! Who know you were in the company of such a great artiste!

5. I love to read. And even more, I love to read a good sci-fi book. I got this from my dad. I love the inventive scenery, transportation and circumstances. However it is hard to come by good stories some times, so I usually rely on my dad's stock to keep me going. Speaking of...I need to steal some more books when I'm down next.

6. I love animated or "kids movies." I guess maybe it's the fantasy again, but I really love it when people use their imaginations or get to be goofy and enjoy life. Too often, as with the news, adult movies are filled with violence, sex and bad language. Give me something to laugh and giggle at any day! And just remember -- "Fish are friends, not food!"

7. I pick at the edges of my fingers constantly. I don't know if they are "hang nails," slivers of skin, or just my arch nemesis, but I can't leave them alone. Any time my hands are free I am flickin' away. This is a habit my family does not like!

8. I too sing in the car. After years of choir and band, I love music - plays, church, concerts, movie soundtracks and the radio. So on my drive to work or wherever, I love to sing. Sing with the music, sing off pitch or just hum along. I like it. And Joe even sings with me too! Sometimes we like to play "Name that Tune" and I usually win! teehee!
