Date nights!

Date nights are great.

Joe and I went on a nice date of dinner and a movie. We split a hamburger at Chili's and enjoyed SpiderMan 3 (with tickets we got as a Christmas gift). We laughed, we hugged, we goofed off, we ate too much popcorn and we told the other one how much we love them. What a great night.

And with that begins our summer of the ball. Starting Friday at 7 p.m., we have 12 straight weekends of baseball madness with the Tarrant County Blue Thunder.

And with that...I can't wait for the next date night!

Yay for date nights! We're due one, too, but I think ours will be a night at home, catching up on season finale shows we missed, maybe opening up a bottle of Cab...

Oh you silly wine buff...Cab! You know Lydia would be so confused! =)

We played frisbee the other day and it was so much fun. Maybe we should do that tonight. It's Joe's Aunt Jill's bday tonight...so fun to be had!

Well, I think I just used "Cab" because I don't know how to spell the rest of it. :-)

Are you talking about Cabernet? I haven't tried it, but I know how to spell it. :)

We were planning a date day tomorrow riding our bikes on Trinity Trails, but the weather has decided otherwise. So...we've talked about spending a day at the movies, watching the threes: Shrek, Oceans, and Pirates. It would be kinda fun, but pretty expensive, too.

Well, I wasn't sure how to spell the rest of it... Sauvignon?

This IS the summer of three-quels! We saw Spiderman and Shrek. We'll try to find a time to see Pirates this weekend. Is Oceans already out?

@Karen: You're right. Oceans isn't out, yet. Oh, well. What did you think of Shrek? I'm not that excited about it....

@L: I'm not either. Looks like they are trying WAY too hard. So maybe we'll wait for the DVD. And Pirates is sooo long I've heard...a little over a half an hour!

Pirates is nearly 3 hours long.

I felt the same way about Shrek and Spiderman... I liked them just fine, about the same as their previous two movies.

@Lea: I got your "Princess Bride" quote! :) Teehee!

Saw Pirates. It was OK.
