Each year afterwards we have had "Roomie Reunion." Just a nice weekend out of the summer where we take a break from our crazy grown-up lives and play, eat, sleep, tell funny stories, and usually end up dying cutting or styling someone's hair.
I so enjoy this time of fun and fellowship and I really appreciate the wonderful bonds of female friendship that we have forged. God has truly blessed me with these wonderful people. But it is sad that we all live so scattered now and that it almost takes an act of Congress to get everyone together in one place! But...try as we must...and try we will again this year.

Oh, AND another favorite thing about "Roomie Reunion" are the t-shirts. You can't call us Baylor kids if w don't make a t-shirt! Sheesh! Last year was great, but we gotta step it up this year girls! Beaddazzler anyone??

As far as dates go, I'm still pretty open for the summer, but if we thought the weather would be better later, I'm up for Aug. or Sept., too.

It's still hot in Aug/Sept. But I'm up for most anything...just not the first two weekends in July (weddings).
I second for San Antonio. I love going there, but since I never knew anyone there, it was hard to justify a day-trip or hotel expense. But since someone near and dear to me lives there now...yeah for Roomie Reunion!

I'd say June is probably out for me bc Jon doesn't have school then, and we'll probably go visit parents.
I've got Labor Day off in Sept. If anyone else does, that keeps us from taking off work any, and we still get an extra day!

June and August look the most open, so I say we pick one of those months. I've got to take time off at the beginning of June, so I'd prefer August, or late June.

Jennifer said something about a lingerie shower =) and it could coinside with RR06 and save an extra weekend. We could do it in Dallas at my new pad, wherever that may be or even at Jenni's..

One idea for you though on the lingerie shower...it's kind of a lingerie show with a twist. It's a "Romance Shower". I have been to one and actually just planned one a few weeks ago.
The invitation/idea goes something like this...
Robes, lingerie, pjs and slippers for her feet,
candles, lotion and a bubble bath treat.
Movies, games and gift cards too
for a romantic date night for Leanna and Joe any gift will do!

These showers were a lot of fun. Not only do you get beautiful lingerie you also get movie tickets, lotions, restaurant gift cards, etc. Just a thought I wanted to give you. Whatever you decide - we will all be there with bells on - I can't wait!
